When we asked students what they appreciated most about their principal, Scarlett Denio, a third-year CTC student from Strayhorn who has completed Automotive and is currently in Health Science, shared: “Mr. Morgan is an amazing principal. He always does the best he can for his co-workers and students. He makes sure everyone has what they want and need for the programs to be successful. He rewards others for their hard work. He is just the best.”
Beyond his leadership, here are a few fun facts about Mr. Morgan: 🚚 First job: working for his dad’s moving company (driving a moving truck at 16!) 🏈 Favorite hobbies: going to University of Memphis sporting events and swimming 🍽️ Favorite CTC tradition: the entire staff eating lunch together to build camaraderie

Monday, October 21, the Superintendent Student Advisory Council was proudly represented at the Tate County Board of Supervisors meeting at the Tate County Courthouse!
Christen Allen and James Hubbard, 6th graders from Coldwater Elementary, along with Independence High School senior Jaleeah Moore, attended the meeting to gain a first-hand look at county government in action.
Special highlights—Christen and James opened the meeting in joint prayer and Jaleeah sat with the Board of Supervisors throughout the meeting. We are so proud of these students for representing Tate County Schools with excellence! #TogetherAchievingTeamExcellence

This month’s Tate County School Board meeting was hosted by East Tate Elementary, and we had so much to celebrate! East Tate Elementary students who earned a perfect score on one or more of their state tests were recognized for their outstanding achievement — what an incredible accomplishment! Independence High School students shared their Weekly Wildcat News video and talked about how much they enjoy creating it each week. Their creativity and school spirit truly shined! Superintendent Student Advisory Council members Jaleeah Moore and Daniella Najera, both seniors at Independence High, sat with the Board and shared their perspectives as student leaders.
