Tate County School District is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Employees of the Year. Each of these individuals were selected for their hard work and dedication to the students of Tate County School District; they embody the TCSD motto: "Together Achieving Team Excellence." Teacher of the Year is Mrs. Carrie Tyree (Strayhorn Elementary), Parent of the Year is Mrs. Penny Raines (Strayhorn Elementary), Staff Member of the Year is Ms. Thishie Rankin (Coldwater High), Cafeteria Staff of the Year is Ms. Angelica Montgomery (Coldwater Elementary/High), Bus Driver of the Year is Mr. Fred Kelley (East Tate/Independence), and Maintenance Staff of the Year is Mr. Greg Blair (District Office). Each of these honorees, along with the school board members, Malinda White, Martha Jeffries, Terri Reeves, Sharann Gordon, and Dale Dunnigan, were recognized at the February school board meeting. As it was also board appreciation month, both honorees and school board members were presented with certificates by Superintendent Alee Dixon, and served dinner, courtesy of Kids First, to show our appreciation for all that they do for the students, faculty, and staff of our district.

The pledge was led by Kenyon Page, senior at Coldwater High School and Rotary Student of the Month.
