Latest Update on August 25, 2020
We have had one individual test positive at Strayhorn High School. Contact tracing has been
conducted and all persons in close contact (someone within 6 feet of an infected person for 15
minutes or more) with this person have been notified. Close contacts will be quarantined for
14 days from last known contact. While quarantining the students may not attend school or
any school activities. Students will be able to continue learning.

 

Latest Update on August 21, 2020
Safety is at the forefront of every decision being made by the leadership of the Tate County School District. As a precautionary measure, we are activating the hybrid model for two grades (5th and 6th grades) at East Tate Elementary. This decision was a very difficult one. We do understand the hardship it may cause but safety is the driving force. The students affected will receive notification through School Status.
