Student Council Honors Law Enforcement

On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, East Tate's Student Council hosted a law appreciation breakfast for law officials in our area. We wish to thank them for their service and protection!

SES Science Fair Winner

Amanda Scallions was the overall winner for the science fair at SES.  Congrats! 

SES Student Places at Regional Science Fair

Congratulations to Anna Gordon, 6th grader at Strayhorn Elementary School.  She placed 4th in animal science at the Regional Science Fair in Oxford.  Way to go Anna! 

SES People of the Month for March

TAGS Teacher Nikki Grant is SES Teacher of the Month.  Kaitlyn Dunson is Student of the Month, and Penny Raines is Parent of the Month.  Way to go!

KK Dickerson, Kenna Lanier, and Anna Gordon are a few of the TAGS students that took a trip to New York City over spring break.  They stopped to smile for the camera in Central Park. 

Dylan Bailey to Represent SES in NatGeo Bee

 

Congratulations to 6th grader Dylan Bailey for winning the NatGeo Bee at SES. He will go on to Jackson to represent the school in the NatGeo Bee at the state level.

Congrats to Delaise Towns, assistant librarian; Ashley Ross, 6th grader; and Stacy Johnson, bookkeeper.  We are so proud of their achievements! 

Jump Rope for Heart

Way to Go SES!  We raised over $4,300.00 for The American Heart Association's Jump Rope for Heart.  Liz Young with Jump Rope for Heart joined Melissa Raper, SES PE teacher, for the kick-off.
