We are very excited to begin a new school year and are proud to serve the very best students Tate County has to offer! New this year, is the addition of an Agriculture program first block for the students of Coldwater Attendance Center.

Kristen Gitter Among the International Top 10!

Krysten Gitter placed in the top 10 finalists in the Home Health Aide category at the HOSA International Leadership Conference that took place last week in Orlando, Florida. Krysten is a program completer in Health Science and Clinical Services program and will be a senior at Independence High School this coming year.

Tate County CTC's HOSA Team Goes to Nationals

Four of our HOSA students are in Orlando this week competing in the HOSA National Leadership Conference.

And the 2017 MS FFA Convention has come to a close!
Congrats to our officer team on placing 3rd in the state in the Opening and Closing competition! And a special thanks to Mr. B and the many parents and teachers that helped make this possible! Here's to bigger and better things for next year!

2017 Outstanding Students of the Year!

 


Program Completer Graduation Ceremony
On May 12, 2017, the Senatobia-Tate County Career and Technical Center proudly honored 57 Program Completers from the 5 programs housed at the CTC main campus.  Of these students, 20 qualify for articulated college credit at any of Mississippi's community colleges, and 16 are current members of the National Technical Honor Society.

Carpentry Students Build Dog Houses for the Animal Shelter
The Carpentry class built and donated two dog houses to the Senatobia-Tate County Animal Shelter.

Independence FFA Students Place at Federation Competition
Congratulations to our Independence High School FFA program! They have received three 1st place and two 2nd place placing so far at the Federation Competition. Both Senior and Junior Officer Teams brought home 1st place and will advance to competition at the district level next month.
